Platinum commenced operations in Hong Kong in January 1996. As a financial boutique, they aim to provide a select range of financial services and products to their clients in a number of countries in Asia. The Platinum Management Team consists of dedicated professionals who are committed to ensuring that the highest standard of service is provided to their clients. Each member of the team shares a common vision and believes that a wealth of investment opportunities is available in Asia Pacific Region. Their established network of relationships at senior corporate level enables them to source and create investment opportunities for their clients. Today they have some 50 staff, mainly based in Hong Kong, but also with offices in Singapore and Shanghai. Both Corporate Finance and Stockbroking Departments provide a range of advisory and dealing services to their clients in the major regional stockmarkets. Their equity research team publishes sector and individual stock reports of companies in China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Indonesia. In July 1998 they expanded their operations to include fund management under the brand name of ‘Access’ (www.accessfunds.com).
