Betatron Venture Group is a venture capital firm investing in early-stage, Asia-focused B2B tech companies. They fund startups disrupting Asia's largest industries, including manufacturing, logistics, finance, trade, communications, and environmental technology. Betatron looks for companies operating or incorporated in Singapore or Hong Kong, running asset-light technology businesses. They provide first checks of up to US$2 million in seed to series A funding rounds, and can also write follow-on investments. Founded in 2016, Betatron has a team of eight professionals and two partners with a network of five well-known venture capital funds managing over $800 million in assets and have made over 200 investments in Asia. They invest with an exit strategy, focusing on companies with a credible path to acquisition or IPO. Betatron helps its portfolio companies by assisting in building teams and processes for cross-border enterprise sales.
