Xuanzhu Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd. is an innovation-driven biopharmaceutical company in China with a global vision. It is the innovative drug subsidiary of Sihuan Pharmaceutical, a large domestic pharmaceutical group. Founded in 2012 after Sihuan acquired 100% equity. The company independently researches and develops innovative drugs, forming a complete R&D system and platform for the entire industry chain, with the ability to research and develop small molecule chemical drugs, macromolecules of biological drugs, and their commercialization. Xuanzhu Biopharm develops drugs in the oncology, digestive, and NASH fields. In June 2022, Xuanzhu Biopharm entered into an exclusive licensing agreement with New Asia Pharmaceutical for the development and commercialization of Benapenem and Plazomicin in the Greater China Territory. Xuanzhu Biopharm's first new drug application for piroxitinib tablets was accepted by the National Medical Products Administration in September 2023. In June 2023, the company's self-developed new drug, Annailazol sodium enteric-coated tablets, was approved for marketing.
