THE DUTCH HOUSE GROUP LIMITED operates The Dutch House Restaurant, a restaurant and bistro specializing in authentic Dutch cuisine in Hong Kong. Philip Chan, a former pharmacist, founded the restaurant after being inspired by a meal from the Dutch chef Armand's restaurant. The restaurant aims to provide a space for people to relax and offer a taste of Dutch culture through its food, using fresh ingredients from Holland and adopting a 'pragmatic luxury' approach, combining traditional Dutch cuisine with French culinary techniques. The restaurant employs a strategy that focuses on hunting for target groups by using IG, YouTube, and XiaoHongShu. Philip has the goal of expanding the restaurant’s branding by means of a “Dutch Cuisine Decoding Project” and to constantly educate the market. The Dutch House Restaurant is focused on providing an affordable experience, aiming to bring a sense of healing to people in Hong Kong.
