Thai Lee Hong was founded in the mid-1970s. Initially, the company imported fresh fruits and vegetables directly from Thailand by air cargo and supplied Thai restaurants. Over time, the company expanded from wholesale to include retail and opened a branch and a factory in Thailand, producing canned food and fresh young coconut. They also developed their own Thai Lee Brand(R) products such as Rice Stick, Rice Vermicelli, and sauces, and are the sole distributor of some famous Thai products. They are also a wholesale supplier for Thai's Restaurant and fruit stores. In 2004, Thai Lee Brand(R) was certified as a registered trademark.
