SDZ was established in 2003 and is a professional and diversified dance school in Hong Kong, located at Tai Koo Station on Hong Kong Island. SDZ provides different types and levels of dance courses for people who want to learn dance, including: Hip Hop, House, Locking, Popping, Jazz, Jazz Funk, Contemporary, Urban Dance, Breaking, etc. The instructor team consists of professional dancers from local and around the world, each of whom has received professional dance training and has rich stage performance, choreography and teaching experience, and has excellent achievements in Hong Kong and international dance circles. In addition to imparting dance knowledge and expertise, we also share our passion for dance with the students. You can definitely find a course or instructor that suits your interests and time! In addition to dance courses, we are committed to cultivating young dance talents, and have been holding different types of dance development training programs for professional dancers and local students. Our annual SDZ Showcase is held in summer and winter, and all students have the opportunity to participate in public stage performances to accumulate valuable stage performance experience. The Best Dance Crew dance competition and the annual SDZ Dance Festival are both major dance events in Hong Kong's dance scene, aiming to provide an international exchange platform for the local dance scene, thereby improving the international level of the Hong Kong dance scene, as well as the overall learning experience, creativity and dance performance skills of local dancers. SD Lab also brings high-level and inspiring works from internationally renowned choreographers to the local dance scene and audiences.
