HOP YUEN DEVELOPMENT LIMITED was established in 1981. The company provides services including construction, civil engineering, renovation and refurbishment, and functional maintenance works. Hop Yuen Construction (合源建築) was founded in 1914 by Tse Yiu-wah, who was also the first Chinese property agent with the right to build properties on Ship Street in Wanchai. Under the leadership of David Tse Sik-hung, Hop Yuen continued to grow and expand. In 1990, Hop Yuen became an authorized contractor of MTR Corporation. Hop Yuen Construction offers a variety of services and has provided interior design services for MTR properties. The company has been involved in the re-development work at 28 Peak Road on the Peak (2004), and for St Stephen's College (2006-08).
