The Hong Kong China Dragon Boat Association (the "Association") has been a key organizer of dragon boat racing in Hong Kong since 1991. It is an affiliate member of the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong and a founding member of the International Dragon Boat Federation, Asian Dragon Boat Federation, and Hong Kong Water Sports Council. The Association aims to preserve traditional Chinese culture while promoting competitions, developing athletes, training officials and coaches, and supporting local teams in international competitions. The Association's mission is to promote dragon boating globally, strive for excellence in racing, raise awareness of health and community, provide community support, and expedite dragon boating as an elite sport in Hong Kong.
