Goldfield N&W Construction Company Ltd. has almost 30 years of experience in building, civil engineering, and maintenance work in Hong Kong. Founded by Mr. Ng Hin Cheung in 1987 (incorporated in 1989), the company has a track record of quality and excellence in both public and private works. The company is a registered building contractor and is included in the Approved Contractors List for Public Works. Goldfield is also a Registered Specialist Contractor for Foundation Works, Site Formation Works, Demolition Works, and Repair and Restoration of Historic Buildings. They offer services in building construction, civil engineering, and maintenance work. In 1973, Mr. Ng Hin Cheung, the founder of the Company, began his construction career from humble positions. After gaining years of solid experience, in 1987, Mr. Ng founded his construction contracting business in the name and style of Goldfield Building & Civil Engineering Contractors ("GBCEC"). In the subsequent years, through Mr. Ng's hands-on management, GBCEC successfully completed various construction contracts, registered as a contractor and was included in the Approved Contractors List for Public Works as a Group A probationary contractor under the Building category in 1988 (confirmed as a Group B contractor in 1999). As the business prospered, Mr. Ng took in other partners and incorporated Goldfield on 17 February 1989.
