The company was founded in June 2022 by Dr. Xiao Lu and Dr. Alan Fernando Rodriguez Serrano. FLASH Diagnostics aims to improve healthcare for humans, animals, and the environment through innovative molecular diagnostic strategies. They provide lab-quality nucleic acid testing in minutes and are transforming diagnostics in human diagnostics, veterinary diagnostics, food & beverage, and environmental testing. The FLASH Test is a diagnostic tool that combines the accuracy of nucleic acid diagnosis with the convenience of rapid antigen testing. The company is also developing diagnostic methods. The company collaborated with leading institutions and innovation hubs and participated in the HK Tech 300 Angel Fund (2022) and HKUST-SHKP Million Dollar Entrepreneurship Competition (2022).
