China Hong Kong Paralympic Committee Limited

The China Hong Kong Paralympic Committee (HKPC) is the Regional Paralympic Committee, responsible for coordinating the participation of Hong Kong, China delegations in major international multi-sport events such as the Paralympic Games and the Asian Para Games. The HKPC aims to promote the development of para sports in Hong Kong and promote the Paralympic spirit. The Government of HKSAR supports the development of sports for persons with disabilities (PWDs) and allocated over $130 million for promoting the development of sports for PWDs in the financial year, an increase of over 40 per cent compared to five years ago. HKPC launched a five-year pilot programme on career and education for athletes with disabilities to assist them in acquiring the necessary knowledge and skill sets for their post-athletic transformation. As a Regional Paralympic Committee for the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the HKPC coordinates the participation of the Hong Kong, China delegation in major international multi-sport events. It also helps to promote the development of Hong Kong Paralympic sports and promote the Paralympic spirit.
