China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation Limited (CASIC) is a state-owned enterprise and a strategic, innovation-oriented high-tech enterprise. It designs, develops, and manufactures spacecraft, launch vehicles, and strategic and tactical missiles. The company is the parent company of the China Sanjiang Space Group and develops vehicles which made an appearance during the April 2012 military parade in the DPRK. It also manufactures defense products, including air defense missile systems and cruise missiles. CASIC also actively develops satellite and its ground operation services, financial services, and internationalization services, with its advantages in space technology.
